GONVVAMA is delighted to win the fifth GASGOO Award, 2023 - China's New Top 100 in Automotive Supply Chain. On October 19, 2023, the award ceremony for the fifth GASGOO Award of 2023 and China's New Top 100 in Automotive Supply Chain was successfully held in Shanghai.

According to the result from GASGOO Award Judging Committee, the hot stamping laser welded double door ring proposed by GONVVAMA won the "GASGOO Award and was awarded the title of China's New Top 100 in Automotive Supply Chain in 2023. The design of the hot stamping laser welded double door ring combines VAMA's hot stamping steel with tensile strength of up to 2000MPa through GONVVAMA's innovative laser welding process, instead of traditional multi-part spot welding design.

 

The design has the following advantages:

1-More parts instead of one part;

2-Significant weight reduction effect;

3-The stamping tools of multiple parts are integrated into one set of stamping tools;

4-Greatly simplifies the subsequent welding process.

 

The hot stamping laser welding double door ring is one of the cases of ArcelorMittal's Multi Part Integration™ concept.
