On March 14th, the technology exchange on hot stamping steel integration held by VOYAH and VAMA&GONVVAMA in Wuhan, Hubei Province, was a complete success.  Experts of automotive industry shared the latest technological research results on the 1st floor of VOYAH R&D center at our invitation, including the H-frame and double door rings that VAMA & GONVVAMA jointly designed with VOYAH. At the beginning of the meeting, Raimond Liu, product manager of GONVVAMA, expressed our gratitude to guests for their presence. And then, Michael Yang, VAMA's Customer Technical Support Manager, thanked VOYAH for providing VAMA and GONVVAMA with a high-quality platform where we can exchange ideas about integration of hot stamping parts in low carbon environment with experts of automotive industry.

Through technical presentation, Long Shijiang, VAMA Senior Customer Technical Support, introduced S-in motion®, which is a series of steel solutions to make cars lighter, safer and greener. Most of the steel and technical solutions can be manufactured and sold locally through ArcelorMittal's joint ventures in China, i.e. VAMA and GONVVAMA.

Raimond Liu, product manager of GONVVAMA, introduced the multi-part integration solution (MPI) , which turns several parts into one laser-welded part that can be stamped by only one mold and greatly simplifies assembling of car.  The double door ring and H-frame are examples of multi-part integrated solutions (MPI).

After technical presentation, participants joined in the test drive for VOYAH Light Chase and VOYAH Dreamer. Through even in-depth discussion on hot stamping steel integration solutions, this technical exchange brought new ideas and technological breakthroughs for the lightweight of automotive steel parts.
