GONVVAMA Fight against Novel Coronavirus with all Efforts

To cope with the outbreak of Novel Coronavarius, many provinces and cities activated level 1 response to major public health emergencies.

For the safety of employees, GONVVAMA took timely action on fighting agaisnt the Epidemic.

Quick Response and Guidance

Since Jan 25th coordination meetings are held twice per day among Gonvvama Management at HQ and Plants to guide and oversee the fight at all sites against the epidemic.

GONVVAMA Headquarter released “Guidance for Company Employees on dealing with the Coronavirus”, which requires for the creation and daily updates of a list for controlled personnel from all sites.

Prevent as per local conditions

Action plan and emergency plan on the prevention of Novel Coronavarius were made by Changhsu, Chongqing, Loudi and Shenyang plant according to the guidance from headquarter and local government.

Meetings were held among each site through wechat or telephone on daily basis to keep the prevention tasks updated.

Cooperate with government to ensure the correct circulation of information

Information on the prevention of Novel Coronavarius are collected and reported to government by all sites on daily basis.

Documents on anti-epidemics, ways for self-protection against Novel Coronavarius were released to employees through email and official wechat. Employees were encouraged to keep positive mindset in dealing with the Novel Coronavarius, and never send any message or articles not verified. He who feels bad or spots any risk shall report to EHS in time.

Ensure Safety on logistics aspect

Sterilization were conducted gradually at all sites since the outbreak of Novel Coronavarius. Protective equipment such as mouth-masks were purchased through various channels and distributed to employees gradually, so as to ensure the normal use of employees.

We have Hubei and Wuhan Collegues in GONVVAMA, due to the wide spread of theNovel Coronavarius, they are retained in Wuhan or Hubei as per quarantine requirement. But they are not fighting alone, they have all of us in GONVVAMA fighting together with them. In case of any specific requirement coming from them, GONVVAMA is always ready to provide full support.
