During the epidemic, enterprises shoulder double responsibilities, which are ensuring the safety of employees and ensuring the normal social and economic order.Throughout the spring festival, overcoming kinds of difficulties, Changshu plant arranged serveral people to keep producing and delivery in order to meet the requirement of customer. On February 10th, GONVVAMA changshu plant, loudi plant and shenyang plant officially resumed operation partially after getting the approval from local goverment. At this critical moment in the fight against the epidemic, GONVVAMA's factories have taken effective prevention measures which can be summarized to Six Guarantees and One Care.
Guarantee the timely ciculation of policy and guidelines
As soon as the outbreak began, the management of the headquarters arranged the management meeting for epidemic prevention twice a day, which was attended by the management of the headquarters and the four plant managers. The outbreak prevention and control team, led by the plant managers were set up immediately by four plants after the outbreak, as well as the outbreak prevention and control emergency plan.The guidelines for the prevention and control of the epidemic were released in time and then timely updated. There's close contact between factories and local governments. The information of personnel and production during the epidemic were reported to government twice a day.
Guarantee the supply of epidemic prevention materials
Since the outbreak, supplies for epidemic prevention such as masks are very tight. GONVVAMA procured such protective materials as masks and disinfectants through various domestic channels. In addition, 28,000 masks were purchased by GONVVAMA’s foreign executives through channels in Europe to meet the protection needs of GONVVAMA employees. In order to ensure the normal operation of enterprises, the local government has also supported a certain number of protective materials such as masks, disinfectants and temperature guns. Through concerted efforts, each factory has stored enough anti-epidemic materials to ensure production demand.

Guarantee a safe working environment
Before the resumption of work, GONVVAMA insisted on disinfection of the production and office areas. After the resumption of work, disinfection frequency was increased to twice a day. The disinfectant and disinfection alcohol, which can’t be mixed out of the concern for safety, are also stored and used separately.

Guarantee the health of employee
GONVVAMA prepared a list to collect information as healthy status from all the employees and family members, which is updated and reported to government on daily basis. On top of it, a list of controlled person was also made. People on each company's controlled list are required to be quarantined at home. To avoid crowds, companies encourage certain employees to telecommute. For those who must work in the factory, the temperature should be taken and record before entering the factory and in the afternoon every day. All staff are required to wear masks to work and new ones are issued daily. After resumption of work, local government organized command crews and medical team to guide and check the epidemic prevention of our factories, and take the temperature of all staff.





Guarantee safety during the meal
To prevent the risk of cross-infection from taking meals together, employees were required to take meal separately. The number of people dinning at the same period of time and same place are strictly controlled. Canteen or Dining management rules during epidemic were worked out. Different actions were taken by each plant as per their own situation. For example, canteen supplier are requested to get disinfection and protection done properly. Or food are requested to be delivered to the factory, and employee should take meal at different dinning places. Staff is reminded to wash their hands before meals. During the meal they’re not allowed to chat.



Guarantee good communication
Epidemic prevention manual and guidelines for resumption of work are released regularly through WeChat of GONVVAMA group and WeChat groups of each plant to teach employees how to do their own protection in different environment. Billboard for epidemic control is also set to ensure that the correct information for the outbreak are widely spread through different channels.
Humanistic Care
In view of tight supplies and rising prices during the outbreak, GONVVAMA raised the subsidy for employees' meals to ensure that their meals would not be affected by the outbreak.
In the current stage of the epidemic, many employees need to be quarantined at home, telecommuting from home, for a variety of reasons. For those employees, salary are paid normally as if they're on duty.
