Agency (Reported by Yang Zhizhou) On November 1, 2017, GONVVAMA (Changshu) Co., Ltd. was put into operation. Mr. Zhou Qindi, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Changshu, attended the opening ceremony and gives an address.

 

In his address, Mr. Zhou said, the launch of the company with annual capacity of 260,000 tons of high-strength hot stamping laser welded parts (LWB) means that GONVVAMA (Changshu) becomes the leader in deep processing of automotive steel and will definitely add new momentum to the rapid development of automotive and parts industry in Changshu. Municipal committee and municipal government of Changshu will do their best to act as the “waiter” for the enterprise, try to create a better business environment, offer more considerate investment service, and consistently support the enterprise to get bigger and stronger.

 

GONVVAMA is the investment headquarters in China through joint venture between Valin ArcelorMittal Automotive Steel Co., Ltd. (VAMA) and GONVARRI. Incorporated in Changshu in November 2015 with total investment of RMB 939 million, the investment headquarters will invest and construct four production plants in Changshu, Shenyang, Chongqing and Loudi synchronously. Amongst others, GONVVAMA (Changshu) was incorporated in January 2016 with total investment of RMB 664 million, covering an area of 120 mu. It has annual capacity of 260,000 tons of high-strength hot stamping LWB.
