Today, GONVVAMA Changshu which has settled down in Changshu Economical & Technology Development Zone is formally put into operation. Mr. Zhou Qindi, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Changshu City, together with other leaders, attend the opening ceremony.

 

 

In his address delivered at the ceremony, Mr. Zhou Qindi said that the automotive industry is one of three major industrial clusters worth RMB 100 billion with the greatest economic growth potential in Changshu and the highest industrial aggregation degree and the China’s youngest modern automotive town integrating OEM, automotive R&D, automotive finance, automotive culture and automotive trade is rising. The opening of GONVVAMA (Changshu) will definitely add new momentum to the rapid development of automotive and parts industry in Changshu. Municipal committee and municipal government of Changshu will do their best to act as the “waiter” for the enterprise, try to create a better business environment, offer more considerate investment service, and consistently support the enterprise to get bigger and stronger. GONVVAMA Changshu is established by GONVVAMA, the joint venture between Valin ArcelorMittal Automotive Steel Co., Ltd. (VAMA) and GONVARRI Steel Services, with a total investment of RMB 664 million, which mainly produces hot stamped, laser welding and high-strength automotive steels.
