Luxembourg, located in the inland of Europe, is a country with highly developed industry. The headquarter of ArcelorMittal is here. The technical cooperation between Luxembourg and China date back to the end of 19th century. Luxembourg, the steel giant at that time, sent a delegation of around 20 people to support the government of Qing Dynasty to build a steel plant. Centuries later, VAMA and GONVVAMA bring this tie closer.
Over the past decade, ArcelorMittal has developed a number of generic steel solutions under the S-in motion® brand. Solutions include the body-in-white of C-segment vehicles, closures, chassis parts, and seats for cars. With the integration of ArcelorMittal technology into GONVVAMA plants, those solutions are available on the doorstep of Chinese customers today.
